Please note: Our campus tours are designed for prospective, undergraduate students.
Holiday Break Closure
Our Campus Tours program will be paused from December 6th until January 13th due to the university closure and final exam period, as many campus spaces highlighted on tour will no longer be accessible; including residence, our dining halls, and athletics center. We encourage guests to consider booking a tour in the new year when these services resume. We would also welcome you to explore our self-guided tour option - with brochures and other materials available for pickup from our Welcome Centre Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.The university will officially be closed from December 24th (beginning at noon) until January 2nd, with most indoor spaces inaccessible during this time.
Winter Weather Advisory
Please be aware that during the winter months, Dalhousie campuses may close due to adverse weather conditions. In the event of a closure, we will make every effort to re-accommodate our guests on tour and will reach out to you via phone and email with updates.
For guests traveling for campus tours, we recommend planning to return home the day after your tour, if possible. This way, we can typically arrange for a tour on the day following any closures. A note that Dalhousie is unable to cover any travel costs that are related to university closures impacting campus tours. Thank you for your understanding!
Schedule a Group Tour
We welcome schools and groups to book customized tours with us! To secure your visit, please fill out our Group Visit Request Form. We kindly ask that requests are made at least two weeks in advance of your planned visit.
