Join us for a dynamic hybrid workshop in collaboration with ShiftKey Labs, designed exclusively for incoming Computer Science students starting in Fall 2026.

This interactive session offers a unique opportunity to get hands-on with real-world concepts, explore how what you’ll learn in the classroom can be applied in practice, and connect with a community of like-minded peers before the semester even begins. Whether you’re joining us in Halifax or tuning in virtually, you’ll take part in a guided, engaging experience led by the ShiftKey Labs team.

ShiftKey Labs is known for helping students build practical skills, collaborate on meaningful projects, and expand their network beyond the classroom. This workshop is a great first step in that journey—giving you a preview of the kind of experiential learning opportunities available to you as a Dalhousie Computer Science student.

Come ready to learn, build, and meet your future classmates.
