Join us for an informative webinar to learn more about Dalhousie University’s new diploma, designed specifically for international learners who want to study in Canada and gain valuable workplace experience. This full-time program is an ideal option for those who may not see a course-based master’s or other professional program as the right fit, but are eager to build leadership skills, explore Canadian industries, and prepare for meaningful employment opportunities.

In this session, we will walk through how the program combines academic learning with hands-on work experience, including a four-month work term completed in collaboration with the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS). You’ll learn how the program provides targeted training to support your transition into the Canadian workplace, including guidance for your job search and personalized feedback on your resume and cover letter. Participants also benefit from one-on-one career counseling through ISANS to help define career goals and chart a clear path forward.

We’ll also discuss how learners who complete the program may be eligible to apply for a post-graduate work permit. Eligibility is determined solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and is subject to its discretion and current policies.

Whether you are looking to build your professional skills, gain Canadian work experience, or explore a new career direction, this webinar will help you understand how this diploma can support your goals. Learn how to customize your studies through specialized program streams, discover what it’s like to learn at one of Canada’s leading research institutions, and find out what it means to live and study in one of the country’s safest and friendliest cities. Join us to explore whether this program is the right next step for you.
