How to enter

    If you confirm your offer of admission to Dalhousie and pay your deposit by May 15th, you’ll be entered into a draw to win an Apple prize pack containing:
    • a 13.6” Macbook Air
    • an Apple Watch Series 10
    • a set of Apple AirPods
    Additional prizes of an Apple Watch or Apple AirPods are also available to be won! 

     
    Already confirmed your offer and paid your admission/confirmation deposit to Dalhousie University for September 2025? You will be automatically entered into the contest.
     

    Contest Rules:

    Contest runs from April 11, 2025, 8am Atlantic Standard time to May 15, 2025, 11:59pm Atlantic Standard time. Open to all residents of Canada (excluding Quebec).

    Entrants must have reached the age of majority in their province of residence, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate if under the age of majority, and must have received and confirmed an offer from Dalhousie University to become a full-time undergraduate student, beginning in September 2025. 

    All undergraduate students who have confirmed their offer and paid their deposits by May 15, 2025 for the September 2025 start will be included in the contest draw. 

    No purchase is required, entrants can also participate by accepting their offer and mailing a short essay.  

    Three Prizes are available to be won. All entries must be submitted before May 15, 2025, 11:59pm Atlantic Standard time by completing the necessary entrance form or by mail-in. Three winners will be randomly selected from all entries by May 16, 2025, 4pm Atlantic Standard time. The winners will be contacted via telephone or email. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. 

    • The Grand Prize is an Apple prize pack containing one Apple MacBook Air 13.6" (M3 Chip - 256 GB SSD), one Apple Watch series 10, and one set of Apple AirPods 4, worth a combined total of $2,178 CAD.
    • Second Prize is one Apple Watch series 10 worth $549 CAD.
    • Third prize is one set of Apple AirPods 4 worth $179 CAD.

    The winners must claim their prize within 14 days of first being notified or will have forfeited their prize. The winner will be required to correctly answer a time limited skill-testing question.
